Kate grew up in Oxfordshire and Rutland. She continued to study the cello privately after graduating from Cambridge University. She is now a freelance cellist and teacher. Kate is the principal cellist of the London Phoenix Orchestra and several opera companies in London and the home counties. She is also a regular member of the Aurelian Ensemble, in addition to playing in other freelance orchestras and chamber music groups. |
